Final WSET Level 3 Award in Wines & Spirits

Donnafugata

As announced last week the WSET Level 3 course is changing, from August it will become the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines.

With our May Level 3 course at Agricola Masi sold out, there remains one last chance to study the existing WSET Level 3 Award in Wines & Spirits with Wine Academy Italia  at Donnafugata in Sicily.

WSET Level 3 Award in Wines & Spirits at Cantina Donnafugata, Marsala, Sicily 13-18 June 2016

The existing Level 3 exam will change from August and no longer contains the spirits section, this will have to be studied on a separate course. This is therefore the final opportunity to gain both qualifications in one single course. This qualification remains valid for all of those wanting to gain a place on the WSET Diploma.

The Level 3 course expands on knowledge already gained on WSET Level 2, the detail becomes greater and during the six days around 80 wines will be tasted to calibrate your palate to the WSET Systematic Approach to Wine Tasting. On the final day students take their exam consisting of both a blind tasting practical exam and a separate theory exam. Successful candidates will then become Certified WSET Level 3 Wines & Spirits.

Donnafugata is a great venue for our course, such wonderful wines and generous people, the course price includes a cellar tour in Marsala, iva and lunch each day. The course will be led by Jane Hunt MW and myself and as usual we will offer a fantastic range of wines to taste.
